MAGGIE BENEDETTI, MSW
Founder, Board & Development Committee
Maggie is an Idaho native who grew up exploring the many rivers and mountain peaks of the state with her family. As a teen, these experiences greatly impacted her life and shaped her into the women she is today. She holds a Bachelors in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University, Masters in Social Work and Certificate in Non-Profit Administration from Boise State University. As a social worker she has worked with individuals and families providing mental health counseling, and supporting survivors of violence and marginalized youth. Maggie is drawn to disrupt systemic oppression, specifically for women, starting with youth. She believes that young women are a powerful force and need more opportunities to gain skills that will equip them in pursuing their dreams with confidence, determination, and the wildest of hearts. Her favorite Idaho escapes are exploring the Sawtooth Mountains and stargazing in natural hot springs!
