Hot Springs Day Trip Adventure - NEW Location!
Ages 12-14. This is a full day trip with a beautiful winter drive to the hot springs, a soak in the different pools that Kirkham has to offer, lunch, and a beautiful drive back to Boise.

Astronomy Campout
Ages 12-14. Where else is better to gaze at the stars than on top of the slice of Idaho that is covered in darkness? This Southern Idaho camping trip will be full of day hikes, exploration, and star gazing galore at Craters of the Moon National Monument. This is a car camping and day hike format. This trip is great for all abilities and experiences levels.
Rock Climbing Series
Ages 15-18. This is one of our final adventures for the 2024 Summer season! We are very excited to be partnering with Idaho Mountain Guides once again for a weekend adventure full of climbing. No experience or equipment necessary. Wild Hearts will also provide lunch and snacks along with leadership, and all group and safety gear for climbing will be provided by IMG.
Leadership Summit Camping Trip
Ages 15-18. Join us for our first leadership summit camping weekend. This adventure will focus on leadership development and discovering each person's leadership style. This trip will not be without adventure though - we will explore the area around the campsite and get to know Idaho's outdoors all while building leadership skills.
Identifying Idaho Adventure Series
Ages 12-18. This is a NEW three-part series with Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge to look at native plants, animals, and places in Idaho! This series involves 1 day trip a month for three months in a row (July 27th, August 24th, September 7th). These adventures will let all participants see how Deer Flat and the things that live there change with the season. We are so excited for this Environmental Education series.
Bird Hike
Ages 12-14. Let's go see some birds in one of Boise's best Urban landscapes - Katherine Albertson Park. This is a half day adventure (9am to 12pm). The trip will start and end at Katherine Albertsons Park off of Americana Blvd in Downtown Boise.
High School Grassy Mountain Lake Backpack
Ages 15-18. Thank you for your interest in joining the WHI McCall Backpacking Trip to Grassy Mountain Lakes! This will involve a hike in to sleep at Grassy Mountain lakes area then a day hike to coffee cup lake and then a hike out on Sunday. The views will be endless.
Middle School Blue Lake Backpacking
Ages 12-14. Blue Lake is a 360 degree view of beautiful Idaho mountains, forest, and rock outcroppings surrounding a picturesque mountain lake. The hike is a relaxing distance and there are hot springs for soaking near by! This adventure will feed any wild heart; it is not one to miss!
Salmon River Rafting with WSE
Ages 15-18. Join us for this very popular multi-day whitewater rafting trip on the Lower Main section of the Salmon River. The Salmon River is Idaho's most iconic river. It is the longest free flowing river in the lower 48 states and has a wealth of Native American and early mining history. The river is also a part of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, winding it's way through some o f the most remote wilderness area in all of Idaho. We are excited to be partnering with Wild Science Explorers (WSE) for this adventure!
Goat Hike
Ages 15-18. Our favorite furry friends are back by popular demand! This Idaho City centric hike will be a fabulous way to kick off the warmer days of summer. Ages 12-14. We will hit the waves and work together as the best paddle crew in town as we raft down the North Fork of the Payette. This beautiful Cabarton stretch of the Payette River is a true Idaho Gem! We can't wait to go whitewater rafting with you to kick off our June trips. Table Rock Trail Hike
Ages 12-18. This is our fourth and final adventure of the May Adventure Series with Wild Hearts Idaho. Ages 12 to 18 are welcome. If you haven't tackled this famous Boise hike - you have to join us and check it off your bucket list! If you have already explored Table Rock before we would love for you to join us again and share your experience with a new friend! We are looking forward to experiencing great views and happy trails with all adventurers!
Camel's Back Park - Discovering Boise's Backyard
Ages 12-18. Adventure #3 of the May Adventures with Wild Hearts Idaho will take place at Camel's Back Park. If you joined us for our first park adventure - don't worry this one will bring different activities, so feel free to come adventure with us again! All ages 12-18 are welcome. If you are interested in nature, observing, art, or games this is the adventure for you! There will be a great mix of activities for everyone - let's explore Boise's Backyard together.
Polecat Loop Trail Hike
Ages 12-18. This is the second adventure in our May Adventures Series. Join us on this fun and accessible hike in the Boise Foothills! This trail will be a great way to enjoy a Spring evening, make a few new friends, and get multiple gorgeous views of Boise!
Camel's Back Park - Overcoming Obstacles
Ages 12-18. Our 2024 adventure season is here. Join us for our first adventure at Camel's Back Park to kick off the May Adventures series. All ages 12-18 are welcome. Leadership Summit
Girls Ages 15-18. Wild Hearts' first Leadership Summit! A two night camping trip with a deeper focus on leadership training. Led by a local leadership educator, all participants will come away with an understanding of their personal leadership style and identify how their own leadership strengths and values bolster her community. Open to participants age 15-18.
Pond to River SUP Series
Girls Ages 12-14. Dive into the ultimate Stand Up Paddle (SUP) experience with our exciting Pond to River SUP Series! Join us for two thrilling days of learning to SUP on the tranquil Quinn's Pond, where our expert instructors will guide you through the basics of balance and paddling techniques. Feel the rush of confidence as you master the SUP skills, and for those ready to take it to the next level, we'll venture onto the Boise River for an unforgettable paddle boarding adventure.
Main Payette River Day Rafting
Girls Ages 12-14. So in demand we're doing it again! Join us for a day of splashy fun on the Main Payette River! Float through the Idaho wilderness, play river games, and learn what it means to be a leader in a small group! No gear or experience necessary to join.
Wood River Camping and Trail Work
Girls Ages 15-18. Need Volunteer Hours? Want to give back to the outdoor community and learn how to mitigate human impact on nature? Join Wild Hearts and the Idaho Trail Association for a three night camping and trail maintenance adventure in the Wood River Valley! Build Community, learn about stewardship and have fun!
Blue Lake Backpacking
Girls Ages 12-14. Explore the wilderness in a two night backpacking expedition through the mountains to a pristine Alpine Lake. Learn backcountry skills, practice Leave No Trace, and have fun exploring the outdoors! No backpacking gear or experience necessary!
McCall Backpacking
Girls Ages 15-18. Explore the wilderness in a two night backpacking expedition through the mountains in McCall. Learn backcountry skills, practice Leave No Trace, and have fun exploring the outdoors! No backpacking gear or experience necessary!
Bogus Bird Hike
Girls Ages 12-14. Join Wild Hearts Idaho and The Golden Eagle Audubon Society 's "Young Birders Program” on an engaging day hike learning about local birds, identification, behavior and ecological impact. Learn how we all fit into an ecosystem, build community and explore our backyard in a fun and exciting adventure!
WSE Salmon River Rafting
Girls Ages 15-18. A two night whitewater rafting trip on the Salmon River guided by Wild Science Explorers. This trip will focus on leadership and deeper outdoor exploration. Open to participants age 15-18.

Payette Whitewater Rafting
Girls Ages 12-14. A day of whitewater rafting and splashy fun on the Payette River with Cascade Raft and Kayak. Float through the Idaho wilderness, play river games, and learn what it means to be a leader in a small group! No gear or experience necessary to join.
Geology & Archeology Day Hike
Girls Ages 15-18. A day hike at Celebration Park led by local experts in Geology and Cultural Archeology with discussion of the original people and natural elements that shape the world around us. Explore the clues of history left behind by nature and people! Open to participants ages 15-18.
Table Rock Hike
Girls Ages 12-18. Welcome to the kick off of our 2023 season. We are excited to offer these experiential meet, mingle, and adventure hikes. These are hikes that are close to town, easy to access, FREE (always), and fun. The intent of these hikes is to recruit girls interested in summer trips and extend an opportunity to parents wanting to find out more about Wild Hearts Adventures. Ages 12 to 18 welcome on each hike. Girls and parents can sign up for one or all hikes - they are all open. Bring your friends!
