Youth Leadership Board
Our Youth Leadership Board (YLB) brings the teen girl voice into our organization. The YLB is an 8-month leadership, mentorship and ambassador experience for girls in10th-12th grade. The goal of the YLB is to turn Passion → Action and be a leader by doing. YLB members are dedicated towards the mission of WHI and use their voice to support a growing non-profit and create change for girls in our community.

AMELIA
Hi! My name is Amelia Crawford. I go to Bishop Kelly Highschool and I am a Junior. I have been swimming for 10+ years competitively as well as play tennis and ski. I love to go backpacking, hiking and camping and love the outdoors. After high school I am interested in going into business such as real estate, finance or marketing at University of Utah Business School of Eccles. I also would love to swim at University of Utah and I think it is beautiful there.
AYLA
Hi! My name is Ayla and I go to capital high school. I love the outdoors and doing art. I don’t know what I want to do after high school but thankfully I have a few years! I’m really looking foreword to being part of the ylb team!
ELYSE
Hi, my name's Elyse. I'm a sophomore and I go to Sage. For the last 6 years I've competed in olympic weightlifting. Outside of that I like to snowshoe, hike, and paddleboard... really anything I can do in the outdoors. After high school I'm not really sure where I want to go but biology has always been really interesting to me so I'm excited to see where I could take that.
EMILIA
I go to Boise High School. I am the president of our mock trial team and a head of the theater class. I run cross country and track and spend my free time outside. I love to ski, river surf, and climb!
BEAU
Hi! My name is Beau, and I’m a junior at PiStem. I’m really into photography, and I like to take as many photos as I can on trips. Nature is beautiful! I hope that I can become a professional photographer or photojournalist in the future.
